Palmetto Hall

Palmetto Hall

The golf courses at Palmetto Hall continues to draw high praise for its flexibility, sound shot values and impeccable year-round conditioning.

This 750-acre community lies just east of Hilton Head Plantation and has become known as one of the island’s more intimate, neighborly establishments. The community offers views of lagoons, the plantation’s 100-acre wooded nature preserve, or one of two 18-hole golf courses designed by Arthur Hills and Robert Cupp. Opened in 1991, the Arthur Hills course was instantly named a classic by Golf Digest Magazine, which rated it among America’s Top 10 New Courses. Heavily wooded with towering pines and live oaks, the lush fairways roll past crystalline lakes.

Protected greens, edged with bunkers, while the signature par-4 18th hole offers a daunting finish to a spectacular game. The Robert Cupp course is a stunningly original design that tests the better player, but accommodates higher handicappers as well.
