Belfair is a private, 1,100-acre community located on Colleton River. The striking “Avenue of Oaks” leads you into the award-winning community where you find two 18-hole crown Tom Fazio golf courses. Included in Belfair are scenic nature trails, wildlife viewing areas, and a wading-bird rookery. Amenities also include a Family Activity Center, active tennis club, indoor/outdoor pools, and more.



Hilton Head Plantation

Situated on almost 4,000 acres of the Lowcountry’s finest land near the Intracoastal Waterway and Port Royal Sound, Hilton Head Plantation is well known for its security, many residential services, recreational facilities, activities and programs, as well as a strong emphasis on family lifestyles. Neighborhood includes four top notch golf courses.



Berkeley Hall

Berkeley Hall is a 960-acre, private golf club community on the Okatie River and located just a few miles from Hilton Head Island. It boasts two Tom Fazio golf courses and a spectacular Golf Learning Center. Amenities at Berkeley Hall include a state-of-the-art Spa and Fitness Center, a river park, over 10 miles of trailways and a 35,000 sq. ft. Jeffersonian-style clubhouse.



Indigo Run

Indigo Run is the newest and final private residential golf plantation established on Hilton Head Island. Located at the north end of the island, it includes two Jack Nicklaus designed golf courses. The Golf Club at Indigo Run was designed in a conventional style and was also the first in the nation to be designed by Jack Nicklaus and his son, Jack Nicklaus II.



Callawassie Island

Callawassie Island is a private residential golf course community on an exclusive 880 acre island. It delivers a soothing, traditional lowcountry experience, complete with a Tom Fazio 27 hole golf course. Callawassie Island is boarded by the Colleton, Okatie Rivers and Chechessee Creek. This truly gorgeous island is connected the mainland by a beautiful causeway. Callawassie Island provides serene water views, private location yet is also close to Bluffton and Beaufort retailers and shopping centers.



Long Cove

Long Cove is a private gated community in Hilton Head Island. The plantation developers thoughtfully chose to preserve the area’s mossy live oaks, magnolias and palmetto palm trees. Hailed by Golf Digest magazine as the number one course in South Carolina for 10 consecutive years, the Pete Dye designed golf course is found within the boundaries of this exceptional community. The more than 7,000 yards Long Cove course is a work of art and is sculpted by one of the century’s great artists, nationally-renowned golf course architect Pete Dye.



Colleton River

Colleton River is located approximately two miles from the bridge to Hilton Head Island. This high-end community offers two ranked golf courses and wonderful views of the Colleton River. Roads wind two-and-a-half miles through the South Carolina Nature Preserve. You can enjoy acclaimed golf courses by Pete Dye and Jack Nicklaus, a golf practice facility, a Stan Smith-designed tennis facility, an activity and fitness center and a beautiful Charleston-style clubhouse that affords views of the Nicklaus course and sunsets on the Colleton River.



Palmetto Dunes

Palmetto Dunes is a popular and attractive residential community located mid-island. Encompassing over 1,800 acres, this well preserved and thriving Hilton Head Island community has 11 miles of winding lagoons as well as a large tennis center containing 25 courts. Within Palmetto Dunes you will find the Hilton Resort and the Hilton Head Marriott Beach and Golf Resort. There are three popular 28-hole golf courses designed by PGA favorites George Fazio, Robert Trent Jones and Arthur Hills.



Daufuskie Island

Daufuskie Island is truly in its very own little world. Luxury living estates are brushed with beautiful white sandy beaches, championship golf courses, fine dining and plenty of life-long residents to welcome you home. Three transportation services are available for travel to the island for golf. H2O Watersports departs from Harbour Town; Daufuskie Discoveries is a fishing boat that departs from Salty Fare; Calibogue Cruises departs from Broad Creek.



Palmetto Hall

This 750-acre community lies just east of Hilton Head Plantation and has become known as one of the island’s more intimate, neighborly establishments. The community offers views of lagoons, the plantation’s 100-acre wooded nature preserve, or one of two 18-hole golf courses designed by Arthur Hills and Robert Cupp. Opened in 1991, the Arthur Hills course was instantly named a classic by Golf Digest Magazine.



Hampton Hall

Hampton Hall is a private gated community with an 18-hole golf course designed by Pete Dye conveniently located off Buckwalter Parkway. Lakeside amenities include an outdoor pool, basketball courts, 8 tennis courts, an outdoor cookout pavilion, a clubhouse, along with approximately 6.5 miles of walking and biking trails.



Sea Pines

Sea Pines is home to the iconic Harbour Town Golf Links where the PGA Heritage Tour is held every year. Also located in Sea Pines are two other championship courses – ocean course and Heron Point by Pete Dye. Players thoroughly enjoy a round at this oasis while listening to the cool breeze coming off the Calibogue Sound.



Hampton Lake

Awarded America’s Best Community and Club, Hampton Lake offers a fun, relaxed lifestyle in the midst of a 165-acre freshwater fishing and boating man-made lake…along with a long list of fabulous amenities. Conveniently located 25 minutes from Hilton Head Island, Beaufort, South Carolina, and Savannah, GA, you’ll enjoying the outdoor lifestyle in one of the most attractive clubs and gated communities located in the Lowcountry. And although it does not have a golf course, it does allow home owners to purchase a golf membership at neighboring Hampton Hall.




Wexford Plantation is located on the south end of Hilton Head Island and is one of Hilton Head’s premier residential communities. Amenities offered in this luxury community include an 18-hole golf course, six tennis courts, spectacular clubhouse featuring a cocktail lounge, restaurant, ballroom and a pro shop. The golf course is strategically blended around a harbor and an expansive stretch of Coastal Marshlands to offer a breathtaking experience with spectacular views. According to Arnold Palmer Design Company, Wexford took inspiration from a few select holes such as The Road Hole, Redan, Alps or Biarritz.




Oldfield is a private club community built along a spectacular 18-hole Greg Norman golf course and situated on the Okatie River. Oldfield’s ideal location is just a 30-minute drive from Savannah/Hilton Head Island International Airport, and a 30 minute drive from both Beaufort and Hilton Head Island. Noted for designing courses in sync with the environment Greg Norman created one of his finest golf courses at Oldfield; by crafting an outstanding route through canopies of moss draped live oaks up to the banks of the Okatie River. The deluxe golf clubhouse is located on the 18-hole Greg Norman inspired golf course. The Outfitters Center includes a combination of lodge, leisure, and learning. Oldfield offers 860 acres of Lowcountry landscaping and endless outdoor activities. The 20,000 square foot Lowcountry style Golf Club includes ladies’ and men’s lounges, a formal dining room, private dining, a mixed grill, and covered porches surveying the course and practice facility.



Moss Creek

This private country club known as Moss Creek Plantation has more than 1,000 homes and 70 villas with marsh views, deepwater opportunities, and boasts two championship Tom Fazio golf courses. Located just minutes from the Hilton Head Bridge, Moss Creek’s 1,042 acres are bordered on the west by a 1,200-acre South Carolina nature preserve and on the east by Lowcountry marshlands. Palmetto Bluff

Palmetto Bluff, a community featuring breathtaking river views on three sides, is a 20,000-acre residential community and conservation preserve in Bluffton, South Carolina. Rose Hill

Rose Hill Golf club prides itself in offering the best value with an affordable and memorable experience. The plantation, located in the town of Bluffton, is made up of over 960 homes and home sites on over 2,000 acres and is less than 7 miles from the Hilton Head Island bridges right between Belfair Plantation and Eagles Point.



Spring Island

Located in the revered Lowcountry, Spring Island is a remarkable community that has gone out of its way to preserve the treasured, and distinct local flavor. Surrounded by views of Callawassie Creek, Spring Island is conveniently connected to the nearby town of Beaufort, South Carolina and Hilton Head Island and situated next to Callawassie Island. Intentionally developed with the intent to “shield” many of the large residential homes from the Island’s roads has resulting in a series of neighborhoods with absolute privacy and protection of domestic trees. It is considered an environmentally-friendly community of unsurpassed beauty and distinction.



The Crescent

The Crescent covers about 540 acres but feels much larger when you’re driving through; homes are well-spaced and offer pleasant seclusion within the community, which features a stretch along the Colleton River. The Arnold Palmer dramatically designed golf course is a semi-private course six miles from Hilton Head Island. It is one of Bluffton’s newer communities beautifully kept golfing all the way to the golf club, where the pool, pool house, and tennis courts are also located. The Crescent is also located near grocery stores, restaurants, and several popular shopping centers.
